SINCE ITS INCEPTION, THE GOTHAM KNIGHTS RFC HAS BEEN PRIVILEGED TO COUNT ON THE SUPPORT FROM TRULY EXCEPTIONAL INDIVIDUALS. FOR 15 YEARS, WE HAVE CONTINUED TO BUILD A FAMILY ON AND OFF THE PITCH. THROUGH THE EARLY STRUGGLES OF FOUNDING THE CLUB TO CHALLENGING GENDER STEREOTYPES TO DEVELOPING A COMPETITIVE TEAM AT THE LEVEL THAT WE ARE TODAY, GOTHAM MEMBERS HAVE BEEN THE CENTERPIECE OF THE CLUB’S SUCCESS. IT WOULD HAVE NOT BE POSSIBLE TO HAVE GOTTEN THIS FAR IF IT WAS NOT FOR THE INSPIRATION AND EFFORTS OF EVERY SINGLE MEMBER THAT JOINED GOTHAM THROUGHOUT ITS 15 YEAR HISTORY.

The Armory

The membership of the Alumni Armory is for Gotham’s alumni and current non-playing individuals. The inception of this group was to give our current and former players the opportunity to actively continue their participation in the club. The reduced dues will aid in covering the expenses of all club related activities.

Order of the Blue Dragon

This award presented at the end of each year. It is the highest honor awarded to a member/s of Gotham Knights RFC. The Order of the Blue Dragon recognizes excellence on and off the pitch. Recipients are nominated and elected to the order by their club teammates.

SYMBOLISM

In heraldry, the color blue represents truth and loyalty. The dragon symbolizes valor and protection in battle. Each new member of the Order of the Blue Dragon receives the Club's ceremonial sword, engraved with the recipients names. The sword is passed to the new recipients every year.
